This is art at its most clever. While the mural on the wall appears to be upside down, the true masterpiece is revealed in the river’s reflection. Ray Bartkus meticulously designed every figure—swimmers, rowers, and swans—so that they appear perfectly upright and in motion on the water’s surface. It turns the whole canal into a living canvas.
